The Montessori School of Coshocton has provided a unique learning environment for preschool age children for almost thirty years.  Shaped by the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, our school is based on the idea that young children are natural learners, absorbing effortlessly from whatever is present in their everyday environment.  They learn best when interested in an activity, especially one they have chosen themselves.  In preparing our classrooms, we provide children with activites and an environment that sustains this love of learning.  Our goal is that our students are provided the opportunity to fully realize their potential as individuals and as members of the community.
