Stephanie Fender
American Montessori Certified Teacher
Stephanie has been a teacher at the school since 2004. She obtained her Associate Early Childhood AMS (American Montessori Society) Credential from the Columbus Montessori Teacher Education Program in 2007. She graduated from MATC with an Early Childhood Degree and holds a Pre-K teaching license. Stephanie is also the administrator of the school. She will be leading one of the three classrooms each morning and be in the office each afternoon.

Susan Fortune
Teacher
Susan has over ten years of experience in child care and preschool education and began teaching at the school in 2000. Susan has completed many hours of Montessori and early childhood training. She leads one of the three classrooms each morning. Susan will also be one of the early morning care teachers.

Heather Gray
Assistant Teacher
Heather has over ten years experience in child care. She began working at the school in 2007 and will be working with Stephanie three days per week. Heather has studied Montessori and attended a Montessori Assistant’s training in the summer of 2007.

Karen Kerr
Montessori Certified Teacher
Karen began working at the school in 2003. She received her Associate Early Childhood AMS (American Montessori Society) Credential from the New England/MTEC Teacher Education Program in 1997. She and her husband ran the East-West Montessori Academy in Okinawa, Japan, a school for American and Japanese students. She will be leading four mornings in one of the three classrooms.

Cissy Moore
Assistant Teacher
Cissy began at our school in 2001 and assists Karen three mornings per week, leads one day, and leads the extended day classes three days per week. Cissy has over ten years experience with childcare and she has completed many hours of Montessori and early childhood training.

Laura Rohrbaugh
Assistant Teacher
Laura has worked at the school since 2005 and will be assisting Susan three days per week. Laura has attended Kent State University, studying elementary education and also completed the Montessori Assistant’s training in the summer of 2007.
